Reservations

Fleet Restaurant accepts online bookings only. Due to our very compact size we are able to seat just 14 guests at any one time. We receive significantly more requests. As such reservations are limited and we appreciate your patience in obtaining a suitable booking.

Presently dinner is booked out approximately six to eight weeks in advance.

Reservations can be made up to three (3) months in advance and up to 2 hours prior to your desired dining time. Our maximum party size is strictly six (6) guests and each guest in the party is required to partake in our shared menu option ($100 per head).

SITTINGS

Thursday through to Saturday we offer a late lunch sitting at 3PM / 3:30PM. Dinner reservations begin from 6:30PM. Please note the menu and experience are the same for lunch and dinner.

Late lunch (3pm) and early dinner (5pm) reservations are allocated 3 hours to dine. Later dinner reservations have no time constraints.

Sundays we offer lunch only. There are two time periods available 12PM / 12:30PM and a late sitting at 3:30PM / 4PM.

SEATING

Dining is communal, with guests seated side by side. You will get to know your neighbour! We have ten seats around a low concrete bar with views to the kitchen. We have an additional 4 seats at a higher bar located in our front window with views to the street. 

Due to the changing configuration of reservation numbers we are unable to confirm or guarantee your placement within the restaurant.

CANCELLATION POLICY 

Due to a high level of last minute cancellations and no shows, we now require guests to include their credit card details at time of booking. Please note your credit card details are held by a secure third party. No charge is made prior to your reservation. 

However at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation, reduction in numbers or change of date is required in order to avoid a cancellation fee

If we are unable to fill your seats a cancellation fee of $85 per person will be debited from your card.

Please note you will receive an email confirmation four days prior to your reservation time. You will then receive an SMS confirmation 72 hours prior to ensure ample opportunity to cancel. We thank-you for you for your co-operation and understanding.

PRIVATE EVENTS

Fleet is available for small, intimate private events for up to fifteen (15) guests. The option is to exclusively book the restaurant for a 2pm late lunch sitting. HOLIDAYS AND CLOSURES

JANUARY: Fleet is currently closed for the month of January whilst we open our new Mexican venue, also in Brunswick Heads, called La Casita. We return to Fleet on Thursday 7th of February 2019.

APRIL: Very excitingly Josh and I are expecting our first child in April. This has presented us with quite a conundrum with reservations over this time! On the birth of our baby Fleet will be closed for two weeks so Josh (sole chef) is able to spend time with our new addition. However babies rarely arrive as planned.

We have decided to accept reservations over this period. However we please ask guests to consider these as tentative and may be subject to a last minute cancellation. In the event it is a special occasion or a definite booking is required we would suggest considering an alternate venue as we do not wish to disappoint.

This is a very important life event for our small team and we really appreciate your understanding in this matter. To those whom have been attempting to make reservations over this period, we apologise for the delay in the reservations being released. We have been debating the best way to handle this situation and thank-you for your patience in obtaining a reservation.

Please note: Those who have attempted to make reservation (prior to 15th Jan) will be contacted over the coming week to organise a suitable booking.
